Tango T1 2025 (Upper Hutt Tues)

Service Description

Term one Starts Tuesday 4th Feb 2025 (8 weeks) 4th Feb to 25th March 2025. 7pm to 8pm Argentine Tango for Beginners & improvers (followed by a LatinDance course 8-9pm) 8-week course $140 (Per person per course) fee can either be paid online with a deposit and by bank transfer/cash, After first night of course. Casually per class $20. (Provided not fully booked) By the end of the course, we aim for you to be able to: • Demonstrate basic steps • Confidently lead or follow basic turn patterns and key fundamentals. • Identify and practice the basic movement characteristics of Tango • Recognize different style, tempos and music styles. Important information: Wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for dancing (or thick, clean socks) and a bottle of water. [This is a physical activity that involves an element of risk. While all possible measures are taken to prevent accidents or injury, please note that participation is at your own risk] Other useful info: Please let us know via Private Message if you are unable to make it, this will help us ensure even numbers for the class. Please wear clean socks or suitable smooth soled shoes with good ankle support. highly recommend a drink bottle as well. All welcome, partners are not essential as we rotate partners regularly. (Please note however that we cannot guarantee equal numbers of men and women). We ask that you please don't come if you are sick. wash & sanitize hands.
