Service Description

Term Four/1 2024 starts: 23 September to 21st October 2024 (5 weeks of 90 min lessons!) Back from Buenos Aires with intensive training from the best of the best! Denise & Alex White with over 25 years teaching experience! Course bookings essential as numbers are limited. Held at George's Milonga Studio, 25 Silverbirch grove, Churton Park, Wellington. (parking is available on-site next to the studio) 7.30pm to 9pm Open to all Levels * Beginners to Advanced Argentine Tango fees: Casual/per class $30. (Provided not fully booked) 5-week course $120 Argentine Tango: Courses mainly focus on Argentine Tango. Other Tango dance styles Milonga and Vals (aka tango waltz) are also taught, mainly in open embrace, with some close embrace. a mix of traditional with modern styles of Tango Nuevo. A suitable foundation for both social dancing and performance/stage tango dancing developed more as you advance to be a versatile dancer able to dance each style with ease. Other useful info: Please wear clean socks or suitable smooth soled shoes with good ankle support. highly recommend a drink bottle as well. there is hand sanitizer on site - please don't come if you are sick. This course has a minimum number to go ahead, also a maximum number of students to ensure quality of teaching. Bookings essential.

Cancellation Policy

Terms and conditions: For regular classes and private lessons at least 4 days notice is required for cancelling private lessons, otherwise normal fees & venue costs may apply. once a course has started there are no refunds, except in what we deem to be exceptional circumstances, there may be a course credit allocated.
